You can easily make a website similar to ours, using the powerful and yet simple to use content management system called Drupal.

Just book a domain name for yourself, and come to us. We'll do all the dirty work for you¹. The advantage of using the Drupal content management system is that you can easily construct and maintain your website directly from within the browser when you login into your website.

This includes setting up a DNS (Domain Name Server) for your domain on an outside DNS server (www.sitelutions.com), which you can take full control of. When you get control to your own DNS settings, it becomes very easy for you to shift from our server if you do decide to move on later on. We hope you don't, but the option is there if you do...

What is included in the deal:

• Web hosting using Drupal Content Management System.
• Latest themes installed for you from drupal.org.
• Latest modules installed for you from drupal.org.
• Online chat with us anytime for support. We'll literally take you by your hand and show you how to set up your website.^*
• cgi-bin folder for web applications written in Perl, Rebol and PHP
• A simple control panel which you can use to upload images and files that are not handled by Drupal (such as PDF files for your website).
• 25 email addresses on your domain. (However space consumed by email messages would be deducted from the total allocated to you)
• Unlimited email aliases.
• Unlimited email responders.
• A powerful webmail system to send and retrieve emails when you are traveling
• A bandwidth limit of 5 gigabytes of data transfer per month
• A total space of 500 Megabytes

What is NOT included in the deal:

Our sites will have ...

• No extra databases other than the one used by Drupal
• No Jabber chat system
• No backups from us. You would have to take precautions to keep backups of your Drupal data at your end
• No shell access
• No https:// (secure access) service
• Space and bandwidth will be strictly reinforced

We have drastically reduced hosting costs. The entire package now costs just Rs 4000/- (Four Thousand Indian Rupees which is less than 90 US Dollars!!! ) per year per domain. We were able to reduce the costs because we decided to remove some options that would cause logistics issues for us. Those options would cost an extra; and the costs for them would need to be negotiated on an individual basis

¹ We will be doing only the initial setup of Drupal for you. i.e. We'll give you a blank website to work on. Expect that to be done over three days (max) after your DNS has been properly set up.



As we will not take ownership of your domain name settings, it could take some time for you to set it up at www.sitelutions.com (or any other location, if you so prefer) We'll assist you in doing that.



This may seem a bit different from what other hosting companies do: Most hosting companies do the DNS settings of the websites they are hosting themselves, but we believe DNS settings should be owned and managed directly by the clients -- for their safety: If for any reason you are dissatisfied with us; all you need to do is to point your DNS settings to another server. None of the visitors to your website would probably even notice and you will have far lesser headaches



After the initial setup of the site, then ALL other work on your website; including upgradation/addition/removal of Drupal modules will have to be done by you as well as (obviously) putting up the contents itself.



(If that looks complicated, don't worry: Most people may not need to twiddle with the Drupal system setup by us and if you do need to do it then it would usually mean that you would know what you want to do there!)
