I knew I was too much into computers
when my clients; all they did was whine
and all I could think of was
cast perl before those swines

when the wife stepped on a snake
"Eek", she yelped, "is it a python?"

Everytime I stop to have coffee
on a warm morning and have some fun
all I can think of is Java and Sun

I knew I was gone way beyond
when the artist in me doodled
"Go search for yourself; go on!"
And all I wanted to do was Google

And then in exasperation, the wife;
she said, "cant you think logically?"
so I immediately showed her "Life"
and wrote the Prolog code systematically

Once I am gone, my friends wont sigh
to find me me a nice orbituary
My tomb would say "C, here he lies"
Its what the punning computers gave me

Not being a versatile versifier; here are some explanations for the non-geek:

"Python" is a programming language whose name; they keep insisting in repeating at a thousand places all over their documentation, the web and maybe even at the ends of the toilet paper of fanatic coders -- phew -- the name, yes, I remember I was talking about it -- was inspired not by the slimy limbless lizard that moves around in some jungle but by the TV Serial "Monty Python"

"Perl" is not what hangs around.... well, it does hang around but not around the neck ... well, not everyone's neck but it does hang around the neck of some computer programmers who go through near asphyxia grappling with the language. There are a lot of dollars in it

"Make" is what we all do when we want to build something, and "build" is what computer programmers carry out when they want to make a program. But they don't do it themselves and it is actually the computer that does a make for the build. But sometimes the make breaks the build and when that happens it breaks the heart of programmers also.

"Java" and "Sun" Now if you don't know this, you better go have some coffee and have some fun and thank yourself for your blissful ignorance

Prolog is sometimes regarded as being dead as a log, but its all about logic and something that has horns in it
