How come 15 USD is 690?

The online store carries out its transactions entirely in Indian Rupees. When anyone pays in USD (or any other currency, for that matter) it is first converted to Indian Rupee as per the current ongoing exchange rate, and then charged.

One USD currently (December 2003) is hovering around 46 Indian Rupees. That means 15 USD will work out to 690 Indian Rupees approximately. The actual value is one and the same. Only the currency is different. In short, you are not charged anything more or less.
